Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors. Key Responsibilities • Develop data-based growth strategy and market analysis for a variety of Corning businesses in China, in conjunction with the concerned divisions • Lead cross functional teams to deliver on such strategies • Communicate and advise senior management within the various divisions and Corning China • Work with global business divisions to deploy the strategies that are developed • Identify business performance improvement opportunities for Corning businesses in China • Work in partnership with China-based sales teams to develop customer interaction plans, channel and commercial initiatives, and other tactical commercial initiatives • Collaborate with technology community and/or business divisions to devise strategy for potential support evaluation of growth opportunities Experiences/Education - Required • China and/or Asia working experience with proven track • 7-10 years of experience working in consulting firms and/or corporate roles (strategy development or strategy process management function) in multinational companies Required Skills • Strong analytic/problem-solving skills with experience in dealing with complex business issues • A good combination of strategic thinking and operational execution • Capable of senior management communication & engagement • Demonstrated leadership in managing project & people • Top-ranking MBA • Fluency in Mandarin and English Desired Skills • Professional experience in a top-tier management consulting firm • Corporate experience in strategy planning, sales & marketing or business development will be a plus • Experience in the consumer electronics, telecommunication, new energy or automotive industries • Undergraduate degree focused on a technical area of study Corning is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and considers requests for reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws.
