Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Supplier Performance Manager. This position will be located at our Grand Rapids, MI facility. This position will require up to 75% travel to various suppliers throughout the United States.
The Network Supplier Performance Manager reports to the Operations Fulfillment Manager in a newly expanded organization dedicated to improving the global performance of Eaton Aerospace FMC suppliers globally. This role will be partnered with the network planning organization, manufacturing facilities and the Procurement Center of Excellence to ensure the proper flow of material to meet and exceed customer expectations and address under-performing suppliers to drive and sustain supplier performance improvements for the assigned network.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you’ll do: • Direct supplier recovery efforts by developing and executing corrective action plans, monitoring supplier performance, mitigating delivery risks, and ensuring timely closure of recovery actions to support production commitments. • Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to drive alignment, improve communication, and ensure successful execution of customer commitments and performance targets. • Serve as the primary supply chain focal point within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), leading material and supplier strategies to support program execution, statement of work requirements, schedule adherence, cost objectives, and customer deliverables. • Establish and maintain best in class procurement processes in alignment with corporate and division procedures & training guides. • Develop commodity knowledge and procurement process expertise within the Procurement Center of Excellence(s) and Operations Fulfillment organization to support effective supplier management, continuous improvement and problem solving. • Monitor overall supplier performance metrics (Past Due, OTD, DPPM etc.) and address performance gaps by driving defined tactical strategies in accordance with the Focus Supplier Process or other short-term recovery plans. • Drive process for systemic operational procurement improvements at sites and (Focus) supplier sites, using procurement/ materials tools. • Leverage supply chain data to establish, refine, and communicate Operations Fulfillment priorities in alignment with site and business objectives.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in supply chain management. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Grand Rapids, MI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management from an accredited institution. • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in supply chain management. • Minimum of five (5) years experience in procurement. • Minimum of three (3) years experience leading complex multi-functional teams or projects. • Minimum of three (3) years experience in supply chain supporting the aerospace industry.
Skills: • Solid understanding of global supply chain functions and its related component. • Advanced knowledge of Excel required including the use of v-lookups, pivot tables, etc. • Proven knowledge of production and manufacturing principles and processes. • Strong knowledge of lean tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Solid organizational, time-management and planning skills. • Demonstrated analytical and project management skills. • Team player with a receptive disposition, and a desire to contribute to the success of the supply chain operation. • Be inquisitive - Dig deeper - Do not systematically take 'yes' for an answer. • Must be willing to travel up to 75%.
