Job Description: The Project Manager – Pittsburgh Micro‑Team serves as the senior operational leader responsible for directing, coordinating, and advancing all outreach, engagement, and program delivery activities within the Pittsburgh region. This role provides strategic oversight, ensures alignment with organizational priorities, and drives measurable outcomes across the micro‑team. Through disciplined leadership, proactive planning, and cross‑functional collaboration, the Project Manager ensures the Pittsburgh Micro‑Team executes its mission with consistency, transparency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Pittsburgh Micro‑Team staff, ensuring clarity of expectations, accountability, and high‑quality performance.
• Oversee all project operations, including strategic planning and project deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with military installations, command teams, employers, community partners, and regional stakeholders to expand VetJobs and Military Spouse Jobs visibility and impact.
• Represent the organization at partner strategy meetings, conferences, and high‑visibility events.
• Evaluate regional trends, identify emerging opportunities, and design targeted outreach strategies that support organizational goals and address local needs.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting on all project activities, metrics, and outcomes to organizational leadership.
• Oversee compliance with all program requirements, including grant deliverables, PII handling, technology training, data integrity, and documentation standards.
• Demonstrate strong independent judgment and decision‑making while maintaining alignment with organizational strategy and leadership direction.
• Foster professional communication, collaboration, and information flow across the micro‑team and broader organizational departments.
• Ensure all project deliverables, reports, deadlines, and administrative requirements are met consistently and with high quality.
• Adhere to program policies, service standards, and data privacy requirements, including completion of required PII and system training.
• Ensure assigned tasks, documentation updates, and follow ups are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with employers, candidates, team members, and management.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently while achieving required outcomes.
• Ensure all work is completed thoroughly, including, but not limited to, invoices, reports, and meeting requirements.
