Were looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our Dorset Outreach team, supporting a young adult living just outside Dorchester. Youll be providing 1:1 community-based support helping them take part in meaningful activities, stay active, and grow in confidence. This is a fun and rewarding role where your relationship with the person you support really matters. About the person youll be supporting: They are a sociable and friendly person in their early twenties who thrives on routine, humour, and connection. They enjoy spending time outdoors, all things gardening, music, festivals, swimming, and trying new foods. They are also keen to build up their volunteering and community involvement. Theyre happiest when outside in nature, doing things they enjoy, they need support to safely access these opportunities whilst developing their independence. This individual responds well to upbeat, calm support workers who are patient, observant, and fun to be around. Having the same people around regularly helps them feel safe and supported. Where youll be working: Dorchester and surrounding areas Shift patterns are 09:00-15:00, Monday Friday. This is a community-based support role with no personal care required. Youll be accompanying them to activities, clubs, appointments, and volunteering roles.
