DescriptionJOB SUMMARYOur client is seeking a Technical Service Support to join our dynamic Technical Service team. The Technical Service Support will work closely with our team of technical service engineers to provide comprehensive post-sales vehicle technical service support to our dealers and customers. The role will involve case management, processing, follow-up, reporting, and internal coordination to ensure efficient and effective resolution of technical issues.these roles are typically focused on supporting vehicle technology, diagnostic equipment, calibration systems, software deployments, and customer-facing technical support for automotive products or services. Typical Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for automotive hardware and software systems. • Troubleshoot laptops, tablets, diagnostic tools, and connected devices. • Install, configure, and update software applications and firmware. • Support end users remotely and onsite. • Track and document assets, equipment, and service requests. • Perform hardware deployments, replacements, and upgrades. • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records. • Work with customers, technicians, and internal teams to resolve technical issues. • Windows operating systems • Laptop and desktop hardware • Mobile devices and tablets • Networking and wireless connectivity • Diagnostic software and automotive service platforms • Ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira • Asset management systems ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:• Manage and process technical service cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded and tracked.• Conduct follow-up communication with dealers and customers via phone and email to gather additional information, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.• Generate departmental reports on case status, trends, and performance metrics for review by management.• Coordinate internally with technical service engineers and other departments to facilitate timely resolution of technical issues and customer concerns.• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical service operations.• Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.• Manage customer accounts, including updating contact information and processing service requests.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback to the management team.• Stay updated on product features, updates, and industry trends to better assist customersSkillsautomotive service, technical support, customer supportTop Skills Detailsautomotive service,technical support,customer supportAdditional Skills & QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE•Automotive service technician with a natural inclination towards customer interaction•Service Writers with an auto dealership experience Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
