Job Title: MillwrightJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial equipment and plant systems in a heavy industrial cement and material handling environment. This role focuses on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring reliable operation of concrete pumps, conveying equipment, compressors, motors, and related plant machinery through both corrective and preventive maintenance.Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of industrial equipment and plant systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including hoses, valves, cylinders, and controls. • Service and repair air compressors, compressor systems, and compressed air equipment to maintain optimal performance and air supply. • Maintain and troubleshoot concrete pumps, conveying systems, valves, and bulk material handling equipment used in cement and aggregate operations. • Diagnose and repair electric motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and other rotating equipment components. • Perform electrical troubleshooting on 240V and 480V systems, including identifying faults and replacing or repairing electrical components. • Work with 3-phase motors, motor controls, starters, and related electrical components to ensure proper installation and function. • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation to plan and execute repairs and installations. • Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed to restore or modify equipment and structures. • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and plant safety standards, to maintain a safe work environment. • Assist with facility repairs and equipment upgrades during planned outages and shutdowns, supporting continuous improvement of plant operations. • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to perform daily tasks. • Support general plant maintenance activities in an outdoor industrial cement terminal and packing plant environment. Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, working in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or similar environments. • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Experience servicing and repairing air compressors, compressor systems, and compressed air equipment. • Knowledge of 240V and 480V electrical systems and 3-phase power, including safe troubleshooting practices. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and rotating machinery. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation. • Experience performing electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment and motor controls. • Welding and fabrication skills sufficient to perform structural and equipment repairs. • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in an industrial setting. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a physically demanding industrial environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with concrete, aggregate, cement, bulk material handling, manufacturing, or heavy industrial equipment is a plus. • Background working with concrete pumps, conveying systems, and material handling equipment is highly beneficial. • Hands-on experience with industrial compressors and compressed air distribution systems. • Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety standards. • Ability to perform welding and fabrication, including cutting, fitting, and basic structural work, is preferred. • Comfort working in dirty, hot, and dusty environments while maintaining safety and equipment reliability. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and documentation. • Reliability in supporting planned outages, shutdowns, and equipment upgrades. • Commitment to preventive and predictive maintenance practices to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance. Work involves frequent use of hand tools, power tools, welding and fabrication equipment, and interaction with high-voltage electrical systems, pumps, motors, compressors, and conveying equipment. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and plant safety standards, while working in an active industrial facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
