Job Title: Night Shift Welder/FitterJob DescriptionWe are seeking experienced night shift welder/fitters to join our team in manufacturing large-scale poles for street lighting and traffic control. This position requires experience in handling large structures and involves welding and fitting tasks during the night shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Responsibilities • Manufacture large poles for street lighting and traffic control. • Perform welding and fitting tasks using metalcore and flux core techniques. • Ensure quality and precision in welding by passing a weld test on a 1/2 inch flat plate using 1G 1/16th metalcore wire with a bevel bar. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately. • Maintain safety standards by wearing a hard hat and using personal protective equipment. Essential Skills • Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy industrial welding and fitting. • Proficiency in metalcore and flux core welding techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Experience working with large structures in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Must pass a fitting test. • Possession of personal welding equipment, including a weld hood and steel-toe boots. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting that requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing a hard hat. Night shift hours are from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with potential overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays. New hires will be trained on day shifts for about a week, with flexibility for exceptions if necessary. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.50 - $28.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
