About this role

Job Title: Industrial Controls TechnicianPay: $35Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to build and wire control panels for custom equipment. • Assemble and wire control components and devices in accordance with detailed schematics and documentation. • Mount components and assemble structural and functional systems to complete custom test equipment. • Install custom test equipment at customer sites. • Assist with site start-up and commissioning of new equipment, including functional checks and system verification. • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing equipment to restore or maintain proper operation. • Verify electrical functionality of assembled machinery using appropriate testing tools and procedures. • Use electrical meters and other test equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues, including AC, DC, and signal loops. • Travel domestically and locally approximately 25–35% of the time to support installations, start-ups, and service work. Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience with industrial control systems. • Experience working with refrigeration type industrial macjhines. • Strong electrical wiring experience, including control wiring and panel building. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation. • Work experience working with AC from 24 to 480 volts, single and three phase. • Experience with installation, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems. • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and PC/PLC-based controls. • Experience working with custom equipment in an industrial environment. Work EnvironmentThis role is based primarily in a manufacturing environment and involves hands-on work with tools and testing equipment. Approximately half of the time is spent performing physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and using hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to assemble and wire equipment. The position also includes significant overtime opportunities and domestic travel of about 35% of the time, typically in 1–2 week stints, to customer sites for installation, start-up, and service work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Southampton, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
