Job Title: Plumbing Field LeaderJob DescriptionThe Plumbing Field Leader oversees daily field operations for residential and light commercial plumbing projects, combining hands‑on technical expertise with leadership, coaching, and coordination. This role ensures high‑quality workmanship, supports service and installation teams, and maintains strong communication with customers and internal teams to keep jobs running smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities

• Lead field plumbing teams by assigning work, providing clear guidance, and ensuring efficient execution of all jobs. • Support technicians on site with troubleshooting, complex repairs, and real‑time decision‑making to resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Oversee job quality to ensure all work meets internal standards and complies with local plumbing codes and regulations. • Coordinate closely with dispatch to manage daily schedules, balance workloads, and align with customer expectations and timelines. • Train, mentor, and develop junior plumbers and apprentices to build their technical skills and professional capabilities. • Communicate with customers regarding job status, findings, recommendations, and any necessary follow‑up work. • Maintain strict safety compliance and enforce proper field procedures, including safe use of tools and equipment. • Document completed work thoroughly and provide accurate, timely reporting to management. • Support both service and installation teams in the field to ensure seamless project execution across residential and light commercial sites. Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a service plumber or plumbing technician. • Demonstrated leadership experience in the field or strong readiness to step into a lead role. • Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and guide other technicians through effective solutions. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both team members and customers. • Proven customer‑service skills, including professionalism, responsiveness, and follow‑through. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied field conditions. • Hands‑on experience with plumbing service, repair, installation, and drainage systems. • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills. • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on plumbing and related systems. • Experience working with hand tools and field service equipment. • Basic electrical understanding related to plumbing and HVAC systems. • Experience supporting HVAC‑related plumbing work in residential and light commercial environments. • Experience coordinating with dispatch or scheduling teams in a field service environment. • Comfort working on both residential and light commercial projects. • Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Strong organizational skills for documenting work and reporting to management. • Experience with efficiency‑based performance metrics or incentive programs. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
