Job Title: Manual MachinistJob DescriptionAs a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for machining parts for rotating equipment such as pumps, shafts, couplings, rings, cases, turbines, and valves. You will operate manual mills and lathes, primarily working with steel and stainless steel. Precision is key, as you will be working with tolerances down to .5 1000's of an inch. The shop is climate-controlled indoors, offering 8 holidays and 2 floating holidays annually, with a 4% match on 401(k). Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenner, LA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
