CNC Machinist DIRECT HIRE **up to $50 PER HOUR**Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist to set up and operate advanced CNC milling machines for the production of complex aerospace and flight hardware components. The role requires expertise in reading blueprints, working with tight tolerances, performing precision inspections, and machining intricate parts in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Candidates should have strong setup skills, be adept at troubleshooting machining operations, and possess experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. The ideal candidate will be from a high-mix, low-volume aerospace job shop and capable of working independently while upholding quality and productivity standards.Responsibilities
• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines. • Read and interpret blueprints for complex aerospace components. • Ensure machining operations meet tight tolerances and precision standards. • Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. • Troubleshoot and resolve machining operation issues. • Maintain quality and productivity standards in a high-mix, low-volume aerospace environment. Essential Skills
• 5 years minimum of experience with 5-axis CNC machining in the aerospace industry. • Proficiency with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Cincinnati, and Heidenhain controls. • Ability to work with tight tolerances (± 0.001 inches). • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). • Expertise in precision inspection techniques.
