Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionAs a CNC Machinist, you will have the opportunity to operate your own machine and sometimes multiple CNC machines depending on your skill level. Your department placement will be determined based on your interview performance and where you fit best, which will also dictate the type of machine you will operate, such as Davenport, Mazak, or Haas. You will be responsible for setting up and tearing down machines, performing tool changes, and for those with advanced skills, programming and editing CNC machines. Responsibilities • Operate and manage CNC machines independently. • Set up machines and perform tool changes and tear downs. • Read and interpret gauges and troubleshoot machine issues. • For advanced machinists, program and edit CNC machines. • Train other machinists and develop into a supervisory role. Essential Skills • Ability to read gauges. • Experience in machine setup, tool changes, and tear downs. • Troubleshooting skills for machine operation. • Possession of a diploma. Work EnvironmentTraining will initially occur on the first shift, after which you may transition to the second shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) or the third shift (11:00pm - 7:30am). The facility is climate-controlled, and you will work both independently and as part of a team. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Otsego, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Pay is competative and they will give a$1.50 shift premium on both 2nd and 3rd shift, also promote from within so there is plenty of room to grow.
