Job Title: CNC Mill MachinistJob DescriptionA family-owned machining shop is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join their team in Eastpoint. This is an opportunity to work in a clean environment with newer machinery. The shop specializes in creating tooling for cold header/fastener machines and serves the construction and aerospace industries. As a job shop, no two jobs are the same, and they produce between 50 to 60 million parts annually. Responsibilities • Operate Hurco Mill Machines and perform mastercam edits and conversational edits. • Manage all aspects of the machine from start to finish, including setup, tool changes, offsets, and running the machine. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately. • Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gages. • Work primarily with steel materials and ensure tight tolerances are maintained. • Bring experience from a prototype or similar job shop environment. Essential Skills • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist, particularly with Hurco Mills. • Proficiency in setting up, changing tools, making offsets, and running the machine. • Capability to perform program edits using mastercam software. • Strong blueprint reading skills. • Experience using measurement tools like mics, calipers, and bore gages to maintain tight tolerances. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with 3-5 Axis machining. • Proficiency in Mastercam Programming or other CAD/CAM software. • Conversational programming skills from scratch. • Experience in tooling for fasteners. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
