• Perform frequent machine and job changeovers with minimal downtime. • Edit Fanuc and Okuma OSP CNC programs (adjust tool numbers, offsets, work-shifts). • Read blueprints and engineering drawings to execute precise setups. • Perform first-part inspections to ensure perfect quality. • Manage dual-machine production when cycle times permit. 📋 What We Are Looking For
• Experience: 3–5 years of CNC mill setup and operation experience in a job shop environment. • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Fanuc controls and G/M code editing. • Machining Range: Ability to run parts ranging from 0.5 to 22 inches in diameter. • Materials: Proven experience machining tool steels and challenging materials. • Mindset: A self-motivated troubleshooter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-mix environment. 🌟 Bonus Points For:
• Experience running Okuma OSP controls. • Familiarity using CAD/CAM software or SolidWorks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of SCHILLER PARK, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
