Immediate Hiring!! Finish carpenter!!Job DescriptionThis role focuses on finish carpentry work for a large new construction project in Nashville, TN. You will build out premium suites in a major stadium, performing precise measurements, cutting, and installation of woodwork, laminate, wall panels, and prefabricated countertops. The position requires strong blueprint reading skills, extensive experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes in a commercial construction environment.Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine measurements, materials, and installation requirements. • Measure, cut, and install woodwork, laminate, and other finish materials according to project specifications. • Move, position, and install wall panels accurately and securely. • Install prefabricated countertops and ensure clean, precise finishes at joints and edges. • Perform finish carpentry tasks for casework, millwork, cabinets, and fixtures in premium suites. • Install cabinets and related finish components, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. • Work with metalwork and finish details as required by the project design. • Use hand tools such as mallets, clamps, and other carpentry tools safely and efficiently. • Operate power tools such as chop saws and table saws in accordance with safety standards and site procedures. • Follow commercial construction practices and coordinate with other trades on site to complete tasks on schedule. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and materials. • Adhere to all site safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA-related practices, where applicable. • Adapt to repetitive "copy and paste" suite layouts while delivering consistent quality, and adjust methods for customized rooms as needed. • Remain flexible to potential schedule changes and overtime requirements as the project progresses. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
