Job Title: Tire Service TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Tire Service Technician, you will begin your journey in the shop for the first 90 days, learning the ropes and shadowing experienced professionals in the field. Once you are equipped with the necessary skills, you will receive a service truck and work independently on the road. You will be responsible for changing and repairing tires in various locations, including Omaha, Lincoln, North Kansas City, and surrounding areas. This role also requires you to be on call certain days to address urgent repair needs. Responsibilities • Change and repair tires for vehicles in the field. • Work independently in a service truck after initial training. • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. • Perform field service tasks with mechanical aptitude. • Ensure timely and efficient repair services. • Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). • Perform three-axle alignments as needed. Essential Skills • Strong troubleshooting skills. • Mechanical aptitude and experience. • Field service experience. • Proficiency in tire service and repair. • Electrical repair skills. Work EnvironmentInitially, you will work in a shop environment with about eight colleagues, operating during the shift hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. After the initial training period, you will transition to a field role, equipped with a service truck, allowing you to work independently in various locations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
