Job Title: Equities, Fixed Income & Securities Settlements Specialist Job Description We’re looking for a Senior Associate – Fixed Income & Securities Settlements to join a high-performing operations team supporting critical funding and settlement activities within an international banking environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Front Office and operational stakeholders, managing high-volume triparty repo activities while ensuring trades, collateral, liquidity, and settlements are processed accurately and on time.What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage triparty repo processing and settlements through BNY Mellon AccessEdge. • Monitor trade matching and investigate unmatched trades and settlement discrepancies. • Partner with Front Office teams to resolve trade, funding, and settlement issues. • Process General Collateral Finance (GCF) repo transactions. • Handle DTCC collateral pledges and substitutions. • Monitor liquidity across multiple cash accounts to support successful settlements. • Calculate and communicate daily triparty collateral requirements. • Calculate and instruct interest payments for repo transactions. • Reconcile triparty positions between Front Office and Back Office systems. • Investigate rate discrepancies, balance breaks, and other processing exceptions. • Maintain strong adherence to operational controls, procedures, and compliance requirements.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience or strong knowledge in financial markets operation - equities/fixed income or securities settlements. • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Ability to manage time-sensitive transactions and multiple priorities under pressure. • Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills. • Adaptability within a fast-paced, international banking environment. • Strong commitment to risk awareness, operational controls, and accuracy.
