JOB DESCRIPTIONChandler is currently searching for a dynamic individual to be our fulltime Delivery Driver at our Dartmouth NS location.Physical demands:Ability to perform repetitive, manual material handling without restriction requiring (but not limited to) the following physical abilities: kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Conduct pre?trip, en?route, and post?trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards. Prepare the truck for delivery, including secure loading, weight distribution, and completion of required paperwork, to prevent product damage. Complete deliveries on regularly scheduled routes, meeting delivery timelines and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and care. Safely load and unload materials at customer sites using appropriate handling techniques and personal protective equipment. Provide professional, courteous customer service during all deliveries, representing Chandler positively at customer locations. Plan routes and daily schedules to optimize efficiency while maintaining safety and delivery commitments. Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance concerns. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, mileage records, and required logs. Return completed and signed delivery documentation to the branch for record?keeping and billing purposes. Assist with ad hoc warehouse or branch duties as assigned when delivery schedules permit.QUALIFICATIONSMust have a valid driver's license and possess a clean driving recordEducation Required: High School Diploma or equivalent or Trade CertificateRequired to complete a security background check for special clearancesAbility to multi-task effectively with attention to accuracy and detailExcellent people skills with a "Can Do" attitudeGood communication skills, both written and verbal, along with basic computer knowledgeSalary Range offered $44,561.00 to $59,535.00ABOUT USFounded in 1882, J.D.
