*Duties*
* Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. * Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix or similar dental software. * Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, inquiries, and appointment confirmations. * Maintain patient records in electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. * Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries. * Communicate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plans. * Utilize medical terminology to assist in patient education regarding procedures and treatments. * Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred. * Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable; experience with Epic is a plus. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures is beneficial. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. * Proficiency in handling electronic medical records and office management systems. * Experience working with front desk operations and administrative duties is essential.
