About this role
• Teach classes primarily in grades six through eight, with the potential to teach high school courses, including Physical Education and Fit for Life.
• Collaborate with other Physical Education teachers, departments, and support staff to provide engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students.
• Develop and implement lessons and activities that promote physical fitness, wellness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits.
• Differentiate instruction and provide appropriate support to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Participate in assigned duties in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development, required trainings, and other meetings throughout the school year.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with families and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
• Support school-wide initiatives, activities, and events as appropriate.
• Potentially perform other duties as assigned by the administration.
• Salary range: $52,803-$91,482, dependent upon education and experience.
