SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Provides counseling and guidance to support students' academic, personal, social, and career development, including educational planning, dual enrollment, and post-secondary transitions. Collaborates with students, families, schools, colleges, and support services to promote student success and college and career readiness. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required: • M.A. degree in school counseling • Three years experience in secondary counseling CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS • Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate counseling endorsement OR Valid Michigan School Counselor license TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 225 days Grade = Salaried G $69,300 - $90,090 (New Hire Range - Salary based on 260 Work Days) ROLE DESCRIPTION The salary range listed above is subject to change based on the Board of Education's approval, amendment, or adoption of applicable compensation schedules, wage scales, or other compensation-related actions.
