1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. New employees must meet all required health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.). 3. A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. 4. Food production skills and the ability to use commercial kitchen equipment. Willingness to be trained in kitchen procedures and equipment as needed. 5. Ability to comply with nutrition, health, and safety regulations. 6. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts. 7. Prior training or willingness to learn the Heimlich Maneuver and ability to perform procedures to assist choking victims. CPR training is desirable. 8. Basic computer skills.
