Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD HAMPTON ROADS.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading, training, or overseeing administrative personnel to achieve daily and overall tasks and command goals; 2) Utilizing core Navy personnel and pay systems or similar systems to process, verify, approve, and audit student gains, losses, and entitlements; 3) Investigating and resolving complex military pay, allowance, and entitlement discrepancies; 4) Communicating effectively to brief command leadership on student personnel readiness metrics, manage CPPA system access/roles, and serve as the command's primary liaison. Major DutiesYou will directly supervise civilians and military staff across two learning sites within the Hampton Roads area.You will provide advice and instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters, i.e. time and attendance, performance appraisal, etc.You will serve as primary point of contact for student support inquiries and issues from outside agencies, providing technical advice and support.You will develop and maintains current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all student administrative services, to ensure highest level of accountability and efficiency of work unitYou will develop and maintain Continuous Process Improvement Plans for CeTARS data integrity to ensure the most efficient methods are employed and the highest level of customer service is being administered.You will manage and oversee the student management functions for the Command, validate student throughput and impact to instructor and facility requirements, and oversee staff-in-house training to maintain competency levels to support mission.
