QualificationsWhat are we looking for? Skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in the performance of sequential tasks. Skill to serve uniform individual portions. Skilled in various phases of food service operations. Ability to operate a cash register. Perform simple arithmetic. Perform work according to established safety guidelines. Ability to read instructions, follow oral and written instructions are required. Must be able to successfully complete and maintain food safety/sanitation certification, and/or ServSafe trainer certification, as applicable.
Major DutiesWhat to Expect Operates a full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Performs tasks with several steps or sequences of tasks such as setting up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages, including desserts and condiments. Prepares and serves simple food items. Operates coffee shop machinery to include commercial espresso machine, etc. Performs other related duties as required. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.RequirementsEVALUATIONS:
