Job SummaryYou will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE INSPECTOR in the ASSISTANT CHIEF of STAFF, G4 of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
QualificationsGS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Independent planning, coordination, execution of environmental investigations, quality assurance assessments, comprehensive multi-media compliance inspections across multiple environmental programs AND providing technical direction, guidance on environmental issues/compliance matters to inspected units. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing routine environmental investigations, multi-media compliance inspections across multiple environmental programs AND delivering basic technical guidance/instructions regarding environmental issues/compliance standards to inspected units. Major DutiesYou will provide environmental compliance oversight and assistance to assigned units through the environmental compliance coordinators, operators, and environmental media specialist aboard the installation.You will provide administrative and technical assistance on environmental compliance and regulatory matters.You will provide intermediate level advice, guidance, and assistance on implementation of the multimedia inspection program through compliance inspections and onsite training sessions.You will serve as a co-escort to regulatory agencies during inspections aboard the base.You will coordinate within the command and tenant units as well as individual media and program managers on environmental multimedia programs with consideration for compliance with multiple environmental media areas.
