Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides a knowledge of automotive worker duties; knowledge of technical practices in order to remove, replace, clean, and install parts, components, and accessories such as wheel cylinders, universal joints, springs, shock absorbers, catalytic converters, clutch assembles, mufflers, engine and transmission repair and replacement. Knowledge of equipment common to the trade. Must have ability to read, write and speak English. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public. 2 years specialized experience or 1 year related experience equivalent to the NF-III level or 1 year related experience plus technical education degree or certification in a related trade. Condition of Employment: Requires a National Agency Background Check (NACI). Must have a valid Driver License. Must possess a valid state driver's license appropriate for the size and type of vehicle operated. Must provide a copy of driving record. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Major DutiesServes as Auto Skills Manager. Establishes, reviews and evaluates current programs, resale operations, and supply purchases. Develops and recommends marketing and publicity plans, policies, procedures, and programs. Develops annual budget and resource requirements to meet program objectives. Submits annual budget to reflect realistic needs and operating costs of the marketing program. Monitors monthly expenditures with regard to budgeted goals. Establishes financial goals based upon feedback from customer surveys, corporate prism, and Golden Eagles Standards. Establishes 5 year capital improvements plan for real property and equipment ensuring up to date equipment and facilities are available. Maintains and assures working equipment and safe environment for self and staff. Plans and coordinates with other Services activities to ensure cross marketing of programs to determine if customer needs are met. Responsible for effective utilization of Rec Trac, tracking customers, daily financial, and equipment maintenance. Responsible for recruitment and development of staff members. Establishes positions and selects applicants. Establishes an internal performance management system to ensure proper assignments, review and evaluation of employee performance. Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Assigns work to subordinates based in priorities and deadlines. Assures that mission and accuracy requirements are met; selects employees; hears and resolves grievances and complaints; initiates corrective and/or adverse action for performance or conduct; schedules and grants leave; identifies training needs.
