QualificationsDG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04/05) grade level or (DG-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing routine technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and/or supervisors at various levels of an organization; 2) Assisting in researching regulations, processes, and procedures to advise others; 3) Assisting in preparing and reviewing paperwork to be processed, ensuring completeness and accuracy; 4) Using computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint. DG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05/06) grade level or (DG-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing technical human resources support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; 2) Researching regulations, processes, and procedures to advise others; 3) Preparing and reviewing human resources paperwork to be processed, ensuring completeness and accuracy; 4) Using computer system such as DCPDS, USA Staffing, and Onboarding Manager. Major DutiesYou will provide technical support and information to coworkers, employees, and supervisors on routine HR matters, and will research answers to customers’ questions.You will participate in training opportunities to expand technical skills and may assist in explaining standard checklists or processes to lower-graded or new staff.You will review, prepare, and track routine personnel actions to ensure completeness and accuracy before and after processing.You will apply a foundational knowledge of standard employee benefits to address routine customer inquiries, referring complex or non-standard questions to senior specialists.You will assist in the check-in process for new hires.You will learn to utilize automated HR systems such as DCPDS, Onboarding, E-Verify, and Civilian Workflow Automation tools.
