Job SummaryYou will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT GROUP, HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

QualificationsDG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing technical human resources support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; 2) Researching regulations, processes, and procedures to advise others; 3) Preparing and reviewing human resources or training paperwork to be processed, ensuring completeness and accuracy; 4) Using computer system such as DCPDS, USA Staffing, and Onboarding Manager. DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing routine technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and/or supervisors; 2) Assisting in researching regulations, processes, and procedures to advise others; 3) Assisting in preparing and reviewing paperwork to be processed, ensuring completeness and accuracy; 4) Using computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint. Major DutiesYou will address inquiries effectively, the incumbent researches answers to questions and works closely with complex regulations, processes, and procedures.You will prepare and review personnel paperwork to ensure complete accuracy both before and after processing.You will administer the onboarding process for new hires to guarantee that all proper forms are completed and new employees are integrated in a timely and effective manner.You will regularly utilize specialized computer programs and systems, including DCPDS, USA Staffing, Onboarding Manager, E-Verify, and the Civilian Workflow Automation (CWA) tool.
