QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: Developing and delivering prevention and education programs related to domestic violence, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth (PSB-CY); providing training and outreach to diverse audiences; collaborating with military and community partners; and assisting with data collection and analysis to support program evaluation and improve prevention efforts. Major DutiesYou will develop and deliver prevention and education programs on domestic violence, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth (PSB-CY) to military and civilian audiences.You will provide training and instruction to small and large groups on topics such as healthy relationships, communication skills, stress management, and abuse prevention.You will conduct outreach activities to increase community awareness of Family Advocacy Program (FAP) services and promote prevention initiatives.You will collaborate with military commands, community agencies, and multidisciplinary partners to support coordinated prevention and education efforts.You will assess program needs, collect and analyze data, and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention programs to recommend improvements.You will develop and distribute educational and marketing materials to support program initiatives and outreach efforts.You will participate in committees and working groups, such as the Family Advocacy Committee (FAC), to support program planning and coordination.
