Job SummaryYou will serve as Department Head for the Systems Acquisition Group in the Systems Engineering Department of Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

Major DutiesYou will interpret and implement engineering policies and lesser echelon system acquisition management directives and provide technical direction and guidance in their application to the development and procurement of Naval airborne weapons.You will provide independent and authoritative technical advice on advanced complex state-of the-art technical issues, projects, or programs.You will provide oversight review of overall technical quality of work performed in the Systems Engineering Department and govern policy on technical standards and methods for achievement.You will initiate, develop and execute short and long-range planning through the integration of objectives derived from review of past accomplishment merits and assessments of the potential advantages of new developments and methodologies.You will serve as the senior acquisition and sustainment expert for the Systems Engineering Department organizational vision and strategic initiatives.You will ensure sound fiscal management to sustain technical projects by analyzing and monitoring resources and providing planning information, recommendations, and decisions for future projected spending.
