Job SummaryYou will serve as a General Engineer in the Prototype Manufacturing and Test (PMT) Department, Prototype Manufacturing Division, within the Advanced Manufacturing and Prototype Engineering (BL412) Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) executing engineering projects involving the use of NDI, including Computed Tomography (CT), Digital Radiography (DR), and Radiographic Testing (RT) for use in Research and Development, Reverse Engineering, Material Inspection and Analysis, and Engineering Investigations, 2) conducting engineering analyses, develops solutions, and post-processes digital data for analysis and reporting, and 3) reviewing and preparing required documentation for assigned tasks such as letters, messages, technical reports, and other forms of technical documentation. Major DutiesYou will serve as a technical specialist for NDI, providing technical consultation to customers (e.g. sponsor, and other activities including contractors).You will act as a mentor and provides technical direction for junior engineers/technicians/specialists ensuring a high level of technical and analytical expertise continues to be maintained within the department.You will serve as the technical point of contact for X-Ray Computed Tomography. Regular and recurring interaction with Air Systems Group, Integrated Project Teams, and other NDI stakeholdersYou will execute engineering projects involving the use of NDI, including Computed Tomography (CT), Digital Radiography (DR), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
