Job SummaryYou will serve as a TRAVEL QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, (NAWCAD), SE & ALRE Group, Prototype and Manufacturing Division, Quality Assurance Branch (Code BL41600) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Interpreting and applying specifications and other technical data is required to make necessary revisions to quality checklists. 2) Programing and calibrating computerized inspection equipment including CMM and optical emission analyzers. 3) Traveling to external contractors to monitor and inspect product conformance and quality. 4) Planning and implementing appropriate procedures during prototype, pre-production, and production. 5) Monitoring programs for controlling the accuracy of test and measuring equipment as well as the quality of materials and supplies required to support ALRE and SE production and prototype activities. Major DutiesYou will analyze quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends, conditions, or weaknesses in the quality or inspection system.You will advise employees on quality assurance (QA) work procedures and techniques (e.g., engineering, inspection, testing, production, maintenance).You will interface with industrial quality assurance (QA) specialists to discuss and mutually solve actual or potential quality problems.You will participate with production, engineering, and other activities in developing plans and procedures for assuring quality and reliability of products.
