Role Definition Provides technical leadership and administrative support to maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability and reliability of equipment, including managing and coordinating equipment failure root cause analysis between various engineering and product support teams. Manages repair and overhaul schedules parts provisioning and mobilization of parts and technician to customer sites.

Responsibilities • Assist in the implementation of large gas turbines, combustion turbines, and generator outage maintenance and engineering projects. Manage and communicate equipment performance, vibration, noises for any deviation of individual equipment performance from standards as corrected for site conditions including gas turbine, compressor and ancillary equipment. • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of gas turbines and auxiliary components, and performing field inspections, field measurements, and equipment walk-downs. Support machinery management solutions and recommend improvement plans utilizing, connected digital solutions monitoring customer equipment, and equipment health management tools and processes. • Schedule maintenance tasks, assessing mechanical failures, and providing periodic reports. Provide input on maintenance techniques and practices. Proactively manage alerts. Respond to connectivity issues and provide feedback on troubleshooting issues. • Recommend changes in procedures, equipment, or materials as necessary to maintain and improve turbine performance, reduce costs, and increase reliability.

Mechanical Maintenance - Power Supply: Knowledge of machines used in power plant; ability to conduct preventive maintenance and repairs or replacements on faulty mechanical parts used in power plants.

Level Extensive Experience: • Develops a system to measure the effectiveness of mechanical maintenance. • Monitors the operation of mechanical maintenance procedures. • Reviews power supply equipment malfunction logs to identify potential problems. • Provides technical solutions for complex mechanical problems related to power supply equipment. • Creates preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment and structures. • Consults on maintenance cycle optimization, emergency situations and complicated repairs.

Mechanical Maintenance (Oil and Gas): Knowledge of mechanical equipment and the preventive maintenance; ability to repair or replace faulty mechanical parts used in the exploration, production or refining of hydrocarbons.

Level Extensive Experience: • Establishes and monitors equipment malfunction logs and diagnosis system; identifies potential problems. • Diagnoses problems and malfunctions in a wide variety of mechanical equipment. • Demonstrates experience with installing and supporting all major equipment on site. • Creates preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment and structures. • Recommends protective measures to avoid oil and gas equipment malfunctions. • Relates experiences with maintenance cycle optimization, emergency and complicated repairs.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

Level Extensive Experience: • Evaluates business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution. • Resolves difficult or high-impact equipment and systems problems. • Monitors machine performance and history; addresses excessive maintenance or repair needs. • Coaches others how to resolve integration or communications problems in multi-vendor environment. • Applies specific techniques for isolating a problem and defining resolution approach. • Uses advanced diagnostic techniques and tools for unusual or performance-related problems.
