The Wilhelmina Children's Hospital (WKZ) at UMC Utrecht is looking for an enthusiastic Recovery Nurse for the Surgical Center. You will be working in a specialized and dynamic environment where high-quality postoperative care is central. At the WKZ, we work closely with various disciplines, including anesthesiologists and anesthesia technicians, with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and patient safety. - Working as a Recovery Nurse at the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital (WKZ) at UMC Utrecht - Responsible for the immediate postoperative care of pediatric and obstetric patients following surgeries, treatments, or examinations under general and/or regional anesthesia - Working in a specialized 8-bed recovery unit in an innovative setting - Childcare is also available for children of the Princess Máxima Center following oncological procedures - Coordinating care and ensuring continuity of care for the patient - Contributing to high-quality and patient-safe care - On-call duties in the evenings and on weekends are part of the job We ask: - Completed training as a recovery, ICU, or emergency room nurse - Experience with acute and postoperative care - Good communication skills - A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a patient-centered approach - At least a high school diploma We offer: - A varied role at a specialized children's hospital - Working in a professional and dedicated team - An innovative work environment with a strong focus on quality and collaboration Company data ...
