No Offer Description Are you a junior academic with an interest in Eastern/South Eastern Europe, and in Europe's past and present? And do you have a passion for teaching and mentoring? Then we have the perfect job for you! Join us! We teach Eastern Europe in its broader contexts. Within the BA and MA programmes of European Studies, our Eastern European Studies team offers courses that are related to the history, politics, and cultures of modern Eastern Europe - understood broadly as the region between the Baltic and the Black Seas but also including the Balkans and the former Soviet Union, in the 20th and 21st centuries. Eastern European Studies team members also teach in the broad first-year programme of European Studies in the English and Dutch tracks, with general introductions into European history, politics and cultures, and in methodological courses like "Philosophy of the Humanities". We are looking for a colleague who is able to take over work groups (tutorials) in some of these clusters, and to teach them under the supervision of senior colleagues who are in charge of the lectures and the syllabi.
