Transport - working at VTS At VTS, we transport medicines in various temperature-controlled zones, including ambient and chilled. Our vehicles and processes are fully geared towards this. Temperature control, monitoring and established procedures are not optional extras, but the norm. Quality and compliance form the basis of everything we do. As a driver, you'll notice this in clear working methods, good equipment and direct lines of communication with planning and colleagues. What sets VTS apart is that we manage everything in-house: our own vehicles, our own drivers and our own planning department. This ensures reliability and continuity. As an organisation, we understand what is needed on the road so that you can do your job properly. Working as an international driver As an international driver at VTS, you'll drive throughout Europe and visit a wide range of destinations: from modern distribution centres to pharmaceutical production sites. You will work with modern, well-maintained vehicles equipped for temperature-controlled transport. No non-binding agreements, but professional and careful transport in accordance with fixed quality standards. You'll be on the road for several days at a time and play a key role in monitoring and checking quality whilst on the road. This requires independence, a sense of responsibility and an understanding of the importance of the cargo you're transporting. At the same time, you're not on your own: the planning team and your colleagues are easily accessible and will work with you to find solutions. "The great thing about this job is how varied it is. On Saturdays, we get a message from the planning department. That's when we find out where we're heading the following week. It could be Spain, but it could also be Scandinavia or England.
