Role Summary
The Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of medical device testing and consulting programs across Eurofins Medical Device Services. This role serves as a key link between Business Development and Operations, ensuring that client objectives are translated into well-executed programs that deliver high-quality outcomes and financial performance.
The CPM owns day-to-day portfolio performance, supports account growth initiatives, and drives structured execution across projects. This role builds on strong project and operational experience, with increasing responsibility for client relationships, financial oversight, and cross-functional leadership. The CPM is expected to bring organization to complex environments, proactively manage risks, and contribute to both client success and business growth.
Success in this role requires strong execution skills, developing business acumen, and the ability to coordinate across teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Responsibilities
Strategic Account SupportSupport development and execution of account plans in collaboration with senior CPMs and Business Development.Build working relationships with client stakeholders and support regular communication cadences.Identify opportunities for service expansion across testing and consulting capabilities.Contribute to pricing, scoping, and service packaging discussions with internal stakeholders.
Program & Portfolio ManagementLead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned projects and programs.Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day program execution.Translate technical and operational information across cross-functional teams.Maintain portfolio tracking tools, timelines, risk logs, and action registers.Coordinate with laboratory and consulting teams to ensure work progresses according to scope and timelines.
Delivery Governance & QualityMonitor scope, schedule, risk, and quality across assigned portfolio.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal processes.Manage project documentation including protocols, change orders, meeting minutes, and deliverables.Facilitate client meetings, provide status updates, and escalate issues when needed.Support client visits, audits, and operational reviews.
Financial & Backlog ManagementTrack and manage project financials including purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and forecasting.Support financial performance through scope management and proactive issue resolution.Maintain visibility into backlog and support conversion of awarded work into revenue.Contribute to financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Customer Outcomes & Growth EnablementManage client expectations and ensure consistent communication across programs.Support proposal development, scope definition, and onboarding of new work.Identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and client feedback to internal stakeholders.Contribute to cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
Process, Tools, and Continuous ImprovementUtilize CRM, LIMS, and BI tools to manage portfolio performance and reporting.Support development and refinement of templates, dashboards, and workflows.Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency and data visibility.Contribute to SOP development and standardization efforts.

This is a hybrid role that requires travel to client sites and Eurofins laboratories as needed.
