About this role
In the scope of powertrain electrification roadmap development for our client (leading OEM of off-highway vehicles), we are searching for a skilled and motivated engineer in powertrain modelling & simulation domain. The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team. The candidate will: Be expected to be autonomous and responsible in his work and take initiative Together with the team perform design optimization study for electric/hybrid driveline, acting as powertrain simulation engineer in the team; Key tasks Create powertrain simulation models for hybrid/electric powertrain Perform system level simulation & analyse results Compile & present results to the internal team & the client Evaluate design trade-offs of design choices Make design recommendations to meet customer requirements backed by strong analysis Working closely with motor, power electronics, control & energy storage engineer to optimize electric powertrain Analyse inter component behaviour within the powertrain Knowledge of electric /hybrid powertrain is highly desired Masters in Mechanical/ Electro-Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering/ Control Engineering with first experience in the powertrain modelling & control Analytical & critical thinking Good communication and presentation skills Experience in hybridization/electrification of non-road/off-highway/ construction/ agricultural machinery is a strong asset Fluent in English Skills in Matlab / Simulink /Simscape Creative mindset Good team player and able to work independently We offer you a position as a consultant within the fascinating world of high tech and innovation.
