About this role
As a Freight Forwarder , you are responsible for the end-to-end coordination and follow-up of export shipments by seafreight . Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Managing export files from A to Z for both FCL and LCL shipments ; Maintaining daily contact with customers and proactively monitoring their shipments; Organizing and coordinating pre-carriage and on-carriage transport with logistics partners; Liaising with shipping lines for operational follow-up ; Working closely with the customs team to ensure accurate and compliant documentation ; Ensuring correct invoicing and administrative processing of shipments; Monitoring and adhering to all applicable quality, safety, and compliance standards. As a Freight Forwarder , you bring the following qualifications and skills: Several years of experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on ocean freight exports ; Fluent in English and/or Dutch ; Comfortable working with new IT systems and logistics software; Able to work independently, accurately, and customer-focused ; Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously.
