As Strategic Buyer (d/f/m) in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will take on a responsible procurement role within the cabin equipment sector. Your focus will be on sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration throughout the entire supply chain. Your tasks: - You support procurement planning and the selection of suitable suppliers for galleys and catering equipment. - You assist in tendering activities, compare supplier proposals, and contribute to cost analyses to support sound commercial purchasing decisions. - You participate in contract negotiations and maintain contractual documentation while coordinating terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle. - In day-to-day operations, you manage supplier relationships and monitor performance, quality, logistics, and on-time delivery. - You work closely with internal departments, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to align and consolidate requirements effectively. - Throughout development, serial production, and in-service support phases, you oversee suppliers, processes, and compliance with agreed contractual conditions. - You contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping to enhance efficiency within procurement and the supply chain. VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: - Completed bachelor's degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or International Management. - Initial professional experience in procurement, supplier management, contract management, or within a supply chain or logistics environment. - Understanding of technical and functional interrelationships, as well as the ability and willingness to quickly analyze complex topics. - Structured, independent, and results-oriented way of working, with a focus on deadlines, quality, and business objectives. - Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; initial experience with SAP and Google Workspace is advantageous. - Business-fluent English is required; German is considered an asset. - Working hours: Full-time position with 35 hours per week.
