About this role

As a Supply & Logistics Manager (d/f/m) in Fuhlsbüttel, you will play a key role in managing material availability and delivery performance for aircraft retrofit programs. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of material flows, enabling the on-time delivery of retrofit kits while maintaining the highest quality standards. - Coordinate material availability with Procurement, Supply Management, SATAIR, and suppliers to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply chain. - Prepare and coordinate kit requirements for retrofit projects and customer modifications, ensuring all relevant documentation and engineering data are complete and available. - Determine material requirements based on engineering input while considering inventory targets, demand volumes, supply chain capacity, and commercial requirements. - Monitor and control ongoing retrofit activities to ensure kits are delivered on time and meet all customer quality expectations. - Manage customer orders and coordinate all downstream activities related to kits and required subcomponents. - Collaborate closely with the Supply Officer and Production Planning to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets for all required materials and components. - Plan and prioritize production, work, and rework orders in cooperation with the Kit Factory, ensuring an efficient and transparent production flow. - Prepare planning inputs for pre-planning reviews and contribute to the continuous optimization of inventory strategies and material planning processes. As a Supply & Logistics Manager (d/f/m), you will thrive in a dynamic environment by combining strong problem-solving skills with excellent stakeholder management and a proactive, results-driven mindset. - You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a comparable field. - You have initial to several years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service, or Production Planning & Control. - You possess a solid understanding of supply chain processes, material planning, inventory management, and production planning within a complex operational environment. - You demonstrate a structured, independent, and results-oriented approach to work, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and collaborate successfully with cross-functional and international stakeholders. - You remain composed under pressure, approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and communicate confidently in demanding situations. - You are proficient in SAP and Google Workspace. Experience with Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management methodologies is considered an advantage. - You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; French language skills are a plus. - You are willing to undertake occasional business travel within Europe (approximately one to two trips per year, each lasting one to three days).
