About this role

We are seeking a Cabin Integration Engineer (d/f/m) in Finkenwerder for a full-time position within Airbus. This is an excellent opportunity for a configuration management specialist, cabin configuration manager, or aircraft customization coordinator who would like to contribute to cabin and cargo configuration topics as part of a transnational team. Your tasks: - Serve as the central contact for all cabin configuration-related matters across several ATA systems and ensure that aircraft configuration at modification level aligns with customer requests. - Assist with the configuration integration of late mandatory customer option requests and ensure customer definitions are delivered on schedule and with the required quality. - Ensure that the relevant EPAC/TDUs, product offers, bricks, and MOD build-ups are ready for the applicable Head of Version rebuilds and the related Custom Definition Freeze agenda. - Track the availability and quality of customization modifications in the Aircraft Configuration Control database and support dependable Request for Change coverage. - Prepare MOD build-ups for pre-development packages for larger projects and support project and chief engineering teams in reducing risks in new developments. - Help drive digitalisation, Lean opportunities, and process simplification to enhance configuration integration deliverables, rate adaptability, and customer satisfaction. - Collaborate closely with international stakeholders in Finkenwerder and contribute to the ongoing improvement of configuration processes, tools, and workflow efficiency. VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: - Degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, business informatics, or a comparable technical field, ideally at bachelor's level or above. - Early professional experience in configuration management, project management, process management, or a related aviation environment is an advantage. - Basic understanding of cabin design, customization processes, and change management is desirable. - Good IT skills, including MS Office and common collaboration tools; experience with ICC, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, or Google Workspace. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a transnational team setting. - Open-minded approach, high motivation, and the confidence to question existing practices and contribute to improvements. - Ability to manage periods of high workload in a dynamic environment while remaining thorough and dependable. - Work Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week. - Very good command of English is required, German at least at a good working level.
