About this role
As a Material Coordinator (d/f/m) in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will act as the key interface between Procurement, Logistics, and the A320 Final Assembly Lines. In this temporary employment position, you will help ensure smooth material flows, proactively identify potential shortages, and support on-time material availability for aircraft production. Your tasks: - You coordinate communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Supply Management, Production Interfaces, Logistics Coordinators, and Warehouse Operations. - You analyze missing parts situations and identify risks to material availability at an early stage to support production and warehouse scheduling requirements. - You coordinate lead times with Airbus Procurement and other Airbus sites to ensure production demands are met on schedule. - You initiate and drive actions to accelerate material flows and secure parts availability for Final Assembly Lines in Hamburg, Toulouse, and other European locations. - You work with Airbus ERP systems and maintain relevant master data accurately and up to date. - You use digital tools to monitor supply chain performance, assess bottlenecks, and trigger corrective actions when required. - You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and stability across supply chain processes. VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: Your qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics. - Professional experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics, ideally with at least one year of relevant experience. - Good knowledge of SAP and confidence in working with ERP systems and digital business tools. - Business fluent German and business fluent English for collaboration in an international environment. - Independent, structured, and result-oriented approach to work with a strong focus on deadlines, quality, and performance. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate impacts, and implement appropriate solutions.
