*THE OPPORTUNITY*
We are looking for *Patient Care Coordinator* to join our HV medical team in Richmond, BC. *Experience in healthcare clinic or medical office is required.*
Reporting to the Director of the Clinic, this role is multi-faceted and performs duties and responsibilities related to scheduling/booking all appointments, invoicing/billing (patient, 3rd party vendors), customer service, marketing and other supportive administrative duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position with potential for growth in our practice.
*What you will be doing daily:*
· Greet and check patients in and out
· Booking/Modifying Appointments
· Schedule Management, scheduling all staff: administrators, physicians so adequate coverage is always available including vacation coverage
· Assist with Operations management: Compliance: Covid 19, Occupational Health and Safety
· Facilitating Treatment Room
· Answer incoming calls to include, new patient calls, scheduling patient appointments, requesting records and follow up
· Invoicing/Billing with MSP, WCB, and ICBC
· Communicating with insurance companies, keeping track of coverage limits
· Accurate Data Entry and Maintaining Files & maintaining patient records
· Processing Payments and Cashing out and Collection of outstanding accounts (A.R.).
· Statistical reports on billing software
· Inventory Assistant with Clinical Supplies
· Registration and Intakes Services
· Multi Tasking with clerical duties
· Prepare treatment rooms for physicians and keeping the Clinic well maintained (general tidying, laundry, assisting therapist with cleaning electrodes and putting away supplies)
*Who you are:*
· Medical Office Assistant Certificate or 1-2 years of post-secondary training or related field
· Minimum 1 to 2 years of general administrative experience in a medical office or clinic
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
· Ability to type 40 wpm
· Experience managing schedules and day to day clinic tasks efficiently.
· Strong Customer Service Skill and Organizational Skills
· Detail Oriented with strong problem-solving skills
· Experience with scheduling and billing software
· Previous sales experience or can learn how to increase bookings for the clinic is an asset
· Experience with Med Access EMR is preferred
· Experience in Fast Phase and Diverse Clinic
· Experience in Treatment Rooms
