About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator *specializing in stairs and railings* to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom metal fabrication, including working with various tools and welding techniques, to produce high-quality staircases, railings, and related structures. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.

*Requirements:*

* *Minimum 10?12 years of experience in miscellaneous metal fabrication.* * Extensive experience fabricating and assembling custom stairs, handrails, guardrails, and architectural railings. * Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details. * Proficient in MIG/TIG welding, grinding, fitting, and finishing of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. * Experience with measuring, layout, cutting, and installation preparation. * Strong knowledge of fabrication tolerances, quality standards, and safety procedures. * Ability to work independently and supervise projects when required.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Experience with custom residential, commercial, and institutional railing projects. * Familiarity with Ontario Building Code requirements for stairs and railings. * Valid driver?s license and ability to travel to job sites if required.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
