*Position Overview* We are seeking a reliable, physically fit *Landscape Technician* to join our team. In this hands-on outdoor role, you will operate alongside compact equipment, assist with concrete base preparation, site grading, irrigation setups, and custom planting projects.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Machine Operation:* Safely operate compact equipment (mini-excavators, stand-on loaders) for grading, trenching, and bulk material movement. * *Concrete & Site Preparation:* Perform site preparation, excavation, sub-base preparation, and concrete base prep for ongoing projects. * *Planting & Technical Work:* Assist in installing garden irrigation systems, specimen trees, shrubs, and custom garden beds. * *Property Restoration:* Execute garden removals and thorough site cleanups to leave every job in pristine, "white-glove" condition. * *Material Handling:* Load, unload, and position bulk materials, including specialized topsoil, stone, and heavy nursery stock. * *Equipment Maintenance & Safety:* Perform daily upkeep on tools and machinery while navigating safely around utilities and existing structures.
*Qualifications & Skills*
* *Experience:* Prior experience using landscaping tools, compact equipment, or general construction equipment. * *Physical Capability:* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and regularly lifting heavy materials. * *Technical Aptitude:* Basic mechanical skill and willingness to learn machinery operation and site prep techniques. * *Mindset:* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team attitude.
