Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office.
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing - Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (Tracker) - Assist with billing and financial transactions - Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Perform general administrative tasks to support the dental office

Requirements: - Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (tracker) - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes - Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) - High school diploma or equivalent
