Robert Walters are partnering with a successful privately owned business in the search for a commercially focused senior finance leader to join them in a highly influential role.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a well rounded leadership role in which you'll manage and grow the finance function, along with being a key member of the senior leadership team and a genuine strategic partner to the business.
This isn't simply a reporting role - you'll have the opportunity to use financial and operational insight to drive profitability, improve cash generation, identify commercial opportunities and support sustainable growth.
Key areas will include
- Financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting
- Commercial and profitability analysis
- Cash flow and working capital
- Supplier profitability and commission arrangements
- Leadership of finance and operational teams
- Management information and KPI development
- Process improvement and automation
- Board-level reporting and commercial decision support
You as the successful individual
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Strong commercial finance experience
- Significant team leadership experience
- Confidence adding strategic value directly with a CEO and Board
- Experience improving profitability and managing costs
- Strong financial control and reporting credentials
- The ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
