About this role
The Housing Projects and Maintenance Technician is part of the technical team responsible for inspections, maintenance coordination, and the overall upkeep of the housing portfolio.Duties of the position includes, but are not limited to:• Identify, assess and document repair and maintenance requirements for CFHA housing units.• Plan, organize and implement repair and maintenance work on CFHA housing units through service providers. This would include the preparation of repair and maintenance work orders.• Oversee and confirm work/repair completion in accordance with the terms of the contract, specifications, technical codes and standards.• Conduct responsive and preventive repair and maintenance inspections of housing units and equipment/systems.• Provide customer services that includes responding to CFHA housing unit service requests, elaborating repair and maintenance plans/schedules on the housing units.• Provide ongoing instruction, information and guidance to servi
