Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Outdoors. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Livestock. All weather conditions. Dirty. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Remote location. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor. Farm truck. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Standing for extended periods. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
